JRCosta Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Hello everyone. I want to know if anyone can come up with ideas/suggestion about how to do this in CK - Skyrim. A fellow modder friend is porting seagulls from Oblivion to Skyrim and one of them has animated wings alongside the flying movement. After lots of trying and error, he managed to make the nif file works in CK preview window (with flying and wing flapping animations). The problem is now how to make this work in Skyrim. The idea is to create a spot where the seagull fly around (like the hawk). The non-animated-wing seagulls ported work fine; this one, probably because of the wings motion, is invisible in game. The nif structure apparently is not the problem (works in CK and was checked in Niftools forum, no reason found for not working in-game), so the issue should be the in the CK, specially how to build correctly the object form. This is the nif: NEW_Seagull01FlapX.nif If someone knows a mod who have a similar element is a good help too. Thank you.
JRCosta Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Turn out the NIF works in game, but didn't behave correctly, flying but immediately crashing at ground. This is the error in CK: Anyone can help with this new information? This is the updated NIF:FINAL_Seagull01FlapX.nif Thanks.
