Rona Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I just finished adding a ton of mods to Skyrim. Problem is the game won't load at all, it goes to startup and then crashes immediately. I am using BOSS, using SKSE, FNIS (also already used GenerateFNISforUsers), SkyUI, SexlabFramework which all seem to be required for what I am doing. I'm not the best with figuring out things like load order and such, but I have gone through and troubleshooted all of this as best I could. I am hoping one of you more experienced folks can take a look at my mod lists through BOSS and what I have in Nexus Mod Manager (I took screencaps and attached them) and be able to say, "Yup, I see what your problem is, Uh huh, right THUR. You got yerself a floppy dick on thta thur dragon. Ain't gonna work with them floppy cocks you know." (/my attempt at humor), and see what's wrong really fast just from having experienced this before. Haha. =) I see that there are like 4 unrecognized mods in BOSS and it's saying I need to place them in the load order manually? But I am not sure how to do that. If anyone could tell me how that would be very appreciated. Otherwise I will continue attempting to Google this. I have a little experience with modding games because I have modded the Sims 3 and the Sims 4 before, I have even had fairly Vanilla/simple mods for Skyrim for a while. This is the first time I have chosen to extensively (and pornagraphically if I may say so, lol) mod Skyrim. I admit it is possible that it could just be my computer too, I will gladly post the specs if you can remind me how to do that. xD /I know, I am the worst at remembering all of this... EDIT: I will be back later this evening to check on this post. I'm really hoping you guys can help me. I am looking forward to playing my Skyrim porno! =D
fizzybutt Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Crashing on startup means you're missing a master or several. Grab TES5Edit and load up everything (It loads everything like your game does so you'll see exactly where it would crash). See where it errors and then you'll know what's going on, it'll also tell you if something's loading in the wrong order. Close it out and run it again until you finally get a finished message. Also, LOOT is the new version of BOSS.
mybrainhurts Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Several things: You are using Sexlab Aroused Creatures which requires Sexlab Aroused (that link is to Sexlab Aroused Redux) which you do not have installed. That may be why you crash on startup. You need to enable FNIS creature pack. Use TES5Edit. It will tell you if you are missing any other required mods. You may need a custom skeleton such as xpms. BOSS is defunct so you should start using LOOT. That'll at least get you started on tracking down all of the problems.
Rona Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Thank you all for the tips. I think I just realized what I did wrong. I forgot to reinstall Hearthfire, Dragonborn and the other expansion which is probably why TES 5 Edit was saying I needed to fix those for some reason. lmao (OMG DUH!!!) Jeeze. Thanks so much for the tips on this though. I will be sure to reactivate the FNIS creature pack and use LOOT instead. I'll let you know if this solves the problem for me tonight. (Wish I didn't have to work today!!!) >.<
Alpia Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I just finished adding a ton of mods to Skyrim. Well the other guys allready said what has to be said only one thing to add just don't install XX mods at one time and then wonder which one is causing problems if you are to lazy to start skyrim for a second after installing a new mod at least try it after 5 mods whatever so you don't have to deinstall all your new installed mods again. As allways I also recommend wyre bash you can easy manage your loadorder with it and also see if you are missing other required mods (marked in red) same goes for loot if you would use LOOT it would also state out errors for conflicts and also for missing requirements.
