BrittnaySkyfire Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Hi!... It's me, again!... This time with ANOTHER one of my screw ups. (I think?...)I seem to be having some issues with LOOT and would like some assistance trying to get this dealt with... Since, well, it's hard to organise plugins for Mods when the program that organizes them is not working correctly.I've installed this before, and have gotten mods to work before, but the change, As I recently reinstalled Windows.(Currently running Windows 7 SP1)When I first was installing Skyrim (From Steam.) I had installed it on another drive, along with several other Steam games. When I got to the point where I wanted to start modding Skyrim, I figured the first time I ran this that it was just being picky with Mod Organizer and wasn't being able to read something.I installed NMM, and the same result.I reinstalled LOOT a number of times, and was still getting it.I finally just reinstalled Steam and Skyrim to my default drive, and tried to do everything again, and the same thing happens.I do have Skyrim, and SKSE both bootable and playable withouth any problems.Everytime when I load loot, I get this... Where it's clearly not showing up correctly. [spoiler]
Guest carywinton Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 First off here, I would run any of the games you plan to use LOOT for first, with their original Steam launcher, this creates an "*.ini" file that is critical for LOOT, FOMM, NMM, Wrye Bash, etc. to detect and verify the presence of the game. LOOT needs two things to be up to date and functioning to work, Java Runtime Environment and IE 11. If the Java Runtime Environment is not allowed in Internet Explorer 11, as in java scripts are disabled, this is the behavior you will see with LOOT, nothing displayed. This page about LOOT and associated FAQs may be of assistance to you as well. Look under the "Common Issues" heading on this page, it also describes an issue with Mod Organizer 1.2.10 so if that is the version you are using, update Mod Organizer to 1.2.11 https://github.com/loot/loot.github.io/wiki/LOOT-FAQs#loots-report-is-blank-how-do-i-fix-this
germanicus Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Loot requires Internet explorer 11 to run correctly. You might not use it, but the author of the Loot requires it.
