Jordick Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 So, I ran in to some trouble with body textures on certain armor mod, and I have no idea what could be the cause nor how I'm supposed to fix that. The armor I'm talking about is this one. As you see in these photos, the body textures seem fine, no problems there. But when I downloaded the same mod, and use the same files, I get this. Notice the black/brown spots. This armor is ported from Oblivion, and when you check the original mod, you can tell that there's something wrong with the body textures. I don't know if this is intended and the blogger is using his own version of the armor, but I hardly believe that that's the case either. I would appreciate it if someone could check that am I the only one with this particular problems, or is the ported UNPB - TBBP version corrupted or something. edit: The problem still persists even if I replace the body shape with Nifskopt/OS with new one. Those black spots are still there.
bcofer Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Looked fine in my game. This UNPB armor includes a body mesh but uses whatever body textures you've installed in your game. Try switching your character body to any of the UNP variants. Plus, the top blotch looks like it includes a nipple.
Jordick Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Hmm, that's strange because I already have UNPB body and UNP based textures in use.
tdehner Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Sorry for my english.. maybe a strange tattoo overlay problem?
winny257 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Sorry for my english.. maybe a strange tattoo overlay problem? I must agree, the problem is 100% the body texture! here is the CHSBHC version of the "D-Huntress", the textures of this armor are identical to the UNPB version. No matter what body type is used the textures of the armor are all the same. http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-564.html
Jordick Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Hmm, now that you mention it, it never occurred to me to remove those tattoos while I figuring out which body texture I'm using is causing the problem, since I'm using several body textures simultaneously (to get my desired textures). I'm gonna have to re-test the armor by removing those body tattoos. Thanks for the idea. edit. Okay, figured out what was the problem. It was caused by the Racemenu Overlays like you suspected, but by Nail colors instead of Body tattoos.
