Is this outfit even weighted for HDT support?

So on the Nexus, there's this outfit mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40568/?

The description talks as if it has HDT support in the clothes, but it doesn't actually do anything with HDT and the skirt is as rigid as ever. Opening the nif shows it appears to have skirt bones in the skirt, but there is no HDT xml applied to this outfit nor is there one provided with the mod. So I'm wondering, would this outfit have clothing physics if an xml were to be applied to it?

No, like you said there's no xml and no NiStringExtraData linking it in the mesh.

This mesh has no physics applied to it at all.

They have also packed the hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll in the .7z dry.png

And even better

"v0.4 Physics If you want to effect the Physics Clothe , you must to delete your file "\skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female\skeleton_female.hkx""

^ don't do that, or you will make a disco ball and a tangerine really angry. laugh.png

Yeah, that part I knew was outdated and old.

But the main part was, would it work if an XML was applied to the mesh? Like, is the mesh itself actually prepared for HDT and they just missed the XML part?

Its weighting is 100% vanilla, so unless there is an xml that manipulates the skirt bones (which is not a good idea due to being animated) then no.

Hmm, I see, so it doesn't have physics weighting at all. I wonder what the heck's up with that, then. Thank you for taking a look!

I just dragged it in to max, its not even weighted to the skirt bones, there just in the nif for some reason. laugh.png
