lambient1988 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 The character is looking randomly in any direction and changes from time to time maybe while engaging in combat. Image Link: http://s10.postimg.org/xbww997uf/TESV_2014_10_11_03_42_32_67.png How do I stop this from happening?
Content Consumer Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 The image link is broken for me, but it sounds like you might have something like this running: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23600/? Is it random or does the head appear to be looking at any NPC, or any specific object or set of objects?

I doesn't happening while talking to someone but does happen during combat. Why aren't people able to see my PostIMG.org links?
Content Consumer Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Uh... It only looks like the link is broken. I just didn't bother to click on it to check. Because I'm an idiot. Anyway... So your character isn't looking like over her shoulder or anything, just in random angles in something like a 75 degree cone in front of her or something? And it changes randomly, and more frequently in combat? How often does it change outside of combat? Do you have anything that looks like "HeadtrackingScript.pex" in your scripts folder, by chance?

Just in random angles and keeps changing from time to time, like every two minutes or so. More during combat, less randomly. Like only once in half an hour when out of combat. No, I don't have any such file. But the image link is not broken, it's just the image link put in IMG tags. :/
Content Consumer Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Okay, I'm stumped. I suppose it might be some sort of animation conflicting or not properly overwriting... Does it happen more frequently when you are not in combat but swinging your weapons anyway? Try this (make sure to make a backup first): delete (or rename so easier to restore) the folder "meshes\actors\character\animations" and see if that fixes it. If so, it's some animation conflicts... like perhaps idles trying to move the head one way but different idles moving other things other ways... If that doesn't fix it, then I'm at a loss. I wish I knew more about how this game worked behind the scenes.

I wish I knew more about how this game worked behind the scenes. Yeah but it removes all my animations. How do I know which ones are the conflicting ones? I have the following animation mods installed: XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS Animated Dragon Wings HDT Physics Extensions

It happens when I walk near other characters sometimes, or when I use the flying mod.
