gtouch Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hello, I'm new to modding. I use Mod Organizer and noticed that each time I run FNIS, SKSE related files (possibly from Ultimate follower or Fus ro doh plugins, which I recently installed) are appears in 'override' folder. After running FNIS that's how 'override' looks like: Tools (fnis files ) SKSE (HDT PE and fus ro doh files) Meshes ( fnis) Scripts ( fnis) Should I keep SKSE related files or delete before each run of the game? Another question: So every time I run Skyrim I need to make FNIS patch? When should I delete old ones, from previous start? I have HDT Physics Extension plugin as well, which generates SKSE related files in override each FNIS run and I'm not sure if I need to keep them in FNIS patch or delete. Seems to me that game become more glitchy with SKSE files in Fnis patch. Game kicks me every time I approach city. Here is my loading order: Skyrim.esm (1 -> 1) Update.esm (2 -> 2) Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp (3 -> 3) Dawnguard.esm (4 -> 4) Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp (5 -> 5) HearthFires.esm (6 -> 6) Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp (7 -> 7) Dragonborn.esm (8 -> 8) Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp (9 -> 9) SexLab.esm (10 -> 10) ZaZAnimationPack.esm (11 -> 11) ApachiiHair.esm (12 -> 12) HighResTexturePack01.esp (13 -> 13) HighResTexturePack02.esp (14 -> 14) HighResTexturePack03.esp (15 -> 15) Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp (16 -> 16) Schlongs of Skyrim - Light.esp (17 -> 17) Brawl Bugs CE.esp (18 -> 18) SexLab Cumshot.esp (19 -> 19) NusbieVoices.esp (20 -> 20) SexLab Submit.esp (21 -> 21) Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp (22 -> 22) SkyUI.esp (23 -> 23) Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp (24 -> 24) RaceMenu.esp (25 -> 25) FNISspells.esp (26 -> 26) RaceMenuPlugin.esp (27 -> 27) UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp
sorsharavenwing Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 MO often creates this data after a gaming session if you're using RaceMenu. I'm sure if I dug around for it I could find the link to the explanation and fix. But I'm on an iffy internet connection right now and don't know how long it'll be up before it craps out again. So I'm just going to tell you how to fix it. 1 - Right click on Overwrite 2 - Click on Create Mod 3 - Call it something like RaceMenu Overwrite 4 - Put it at the bottom of your active plugins and make sure it's ticked active 5 - Sometimes new SKSE and meshes content is found in Overwrite, just drag and drop into the RaceMenu Overwrite "mod"
gtouch Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 Thanks for reply. You know what? I think this modded game is too buggy. At least today and at least for me. It requires too much of a specific knowledge and I actually spend much more time trying to fix those bugs than play and enjoy it. If someone could combine all mods together in a playable version, I'd vote for it with my wallet, otherwise.. Too complicated for average gamer like me.. Kick, clean, reload, play, glitch, kick, bug... Oh! Wonderful gameplay!
instanthit Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I know this thread is old but in case someone is having the same issue. when skse generate file into the overwrite folder of mod organizer you can delete them these file are usually only logs but you can take a look to make sure. FNIS will generate file in the overwrite folder of mod organizer everytime you run it simply right click "create mod" and name it something like "FNIS PATCH" or whatever you want and make sure to enable it (check the box) (you might want to click on "sort" after that to make sure the patch is not high in the load order . Now each time you use FNIS to patch something you just drag and drop the content of overwrite into the "FNIS PATCH" mod you created and hit "replace" but make sure to clean youre overwrite folder often because you might end up "drag and drop" some useless content to your "FNIS PATCH" MOD it might cause bug.
