Guest victorddp Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Creation Kit opens without problems, but when I load Skyrim.esm, it crashes, not even the "Warnings" are shown. I uninstalled it, deleted and defragment the registry dozens of times, nothing works. I have edited the .ini files to add support for load multiple master files, added all necessary .bsa files, etc. I have also tried to reinstall Skyrim, only the first time I open it works, when I close it, same problem again. I've searched on Google some solution, but cannot find anything, and some explanations are too technical and I don't understand them, English is not my first language. Load Order: - Skyrim.esm - Update.esm - Dawnguard.esm - HearthFires.esm - Dragonborn.esm [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 SArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txt iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bUseArchives=1 SResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa It is a clean install, no mods. If it helps, my specs are: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits Motherboard: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2 GHz. Graphics card: Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X OC 3GB GDDR5 RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black DDR3 1866MHz 8GB HD: Seagate SSHD 2TB SATA 3 & Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA3 just with Windows 7. If you need any log or file, I can provide them, or at least I think I know how to do it.
Guest victorddp Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I have to add that the option to compile scripts doesn't work either.
Rayblue Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hmm... Have you installed DirectX 9.0c (June 2010)? It works for most games, even on Windows 7 64bit. Also, have you tried to use Steam's Verify Files feature?
Guest victorddp Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I think so, at least CK worked perfectly a couple of weeks ago, I'll check it in a few hours, thanks! And yes, I've tried that feature of Steam too many times. EDIT: Doesn't work. I had it updated, I reinstalled, same everything.
