Areas that will kill save file?

Kinda like the topic title suggests, can people atleast list general areas to avoid saving your game in? I already know that if I save my game anywhere inside Solitude the save file kills itself off and can't be loaded without crashing. Saving outside the gates is just fine but saving inside kills my save. Just found my latest save file killed because I saved outside Skaal Village after completing the Earth Stone quest.

I'm pretty sure the problem is with your build, not with areas themselves. I save in Solitude just fine.

I long ago gave up trying to fix things. Posted multiple Papyrus logs and never managed to get any help. I can enter Solitude just fine and even The Winking Skeever but if I try to exit The Winking Skeever Skyrim will crash. Kinda the same with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27361/?. Every part of the mod EXCEPT the Master Bedroom/Private Quarters works completely fine (even starting on clean mod-less save the ore veins don't work with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19618/? and even using a pickaxe will yield only some ore from a few veins lol). Try to enter the bedroom with my current mod setup and crash everytime. I can't read the Papyrus logs and like I stated/whined earlier, anytime I posted the logs never got any help so i just end up posting weird/crazy topics like this one.

why don't you try 2 things;

1) make sure Data\Meshes\architecture\solitude\ and any subdirectories  is empty, best to simply archive all the extra .nif files in that diectory and subdirectories as a backup and then delete the lot.

2) try as you load skyrim and enter the main menu to open the console and type 'coc qasmoke' which will take you to the testing area, wait a couple of seconds for any scripted mods to finish installing/updating and then load your savegame-in-bad-area and see if it works.

generally crashing in areas is a memory leak (when loading the game) and a mesh error (when entering the area)

...maybe one of your mods has a nasty mesh in it...

if the area loads after using 'coc qasmoke' then its a memory issue on your computer probably caused by some 4gig patch, extra .dll file or who knows what else...

For the bathhouse, mod-less I can enter the bedroom just find, soon as I turn on the mods I always use then I crash everytime. I tried the 'coc qasmoke' on the save outside Skaal Village, still crashed anyway.

Make hard gamesaves indoors. Also, some CTDs are caused by a poorly laid navmesh.

BTW, have you tried to use TES5 edit to clean update.esm and the .ESMs of all the DLCs?

Kinda forgot about TES5Edit. Just took up Skyrim again after a 6 month break.

Need to clean them up, then pick up the Unofficial Patches. And, oh, be sure Skyrim's now updated to 1.9.0.32 so you may also have to update any mods you've installed.

Did clean them now, always use the unofficial patches, Skyrim is always up-to-date and the mods that aren't off the Steam Workshop were all freshly downloaded recently. Always seems like something doesn't like another mod I use. On my last PC if I wanted to use SexLab I had to disable all mods except the unofficial patches or else nothing ever happened. Now I'm sure that that was because my last pc didn't quite meet the minimal requirements. Just find it kinda strange that only the Private Quarters in the bathhouse doesn't like one of the other mods I use. It must be some kind of semi-conflict cause I ended up downloading the mod 3 seperate times.

maybe in the .esp you turn on there is a .nif file that is not found or something

you can find the solution to the problem yourself by using tes5edit to view the entries in the esp you turn on.

maybe check it by itself, with only the relevant masters, go through the various entries  and see if there isn't something missing.

generally, if you see a Red entry there is a conflict, green entries are clean replacements, clear colourless entries are unique records.

so go through the esp that causes you to crash and make sure the entries it contains are valid entries in the respective data\ directories pertaining to the entry, you'll find the missing link sooner or later.

then, if you're sure you haven't made a mistake installing it or deleting something or other, you can go to the mod author and report a bug and get them to fix it ;)
