Animation of Workbenches, Smithing and even sitting seems broken

So recently it seems that my Animation is fucked. When i want to use any object in the game that requires an animation like smithing, cooking, alchemy, enchanting or even sitting on a chair, my character goes to the object, starts the animation and ends it again. So the Animation itself, isn't broken, its just that it doesn't seem to loop. So when i want to smith something for example, i would go the the Anvil, and step right back before i have time to even pick someting so smith. Sitting on Chairs would end up by the hero getting up again imidiatly and so on.

 

I Use the Modmanger, i have already tried to clean the save with the Savetool and i have used BOSS and FNIS. My SKSE is up to date. When i start a new game this problem doesn't seem to exist. I know i could just start all over, but i honestly don't want to. I spend a gazillion hours and a lot of heart on my character and really want to keep playing it. 

 

I have real huge amount of mods installed, but i have quite the good pc and i never encountered any bigger problems in generel that i couldn't handle by picking some mods that were causing problems and kicking them out. Sadly i have no clue wich mod could cause it for i haven't installed anything animation related in quite some time. 

 

I am really tapping in the dark with that one and hoped you people could help me.

I used TAI. I wasn't able to interact with the cooking pot. When i turned the AI back on by typing TAI again, i could use the cooking pot for a second before the animation stopped again. Same with Chair and Alchemytable. 

I also tried typing TAI, than TCAI to deactivate both, and than turning them back up. 

 

Sadly that didn't work, but thanks for the fast reply

 

UPDATE: I tried to TAI myself, by clicking on my hero in the consolemode and typing TAI. After typing it again, i the same problem keept coming.

Well thanks anway for trying I will experiment a little with the TAI commands, until someone has a better plan.

for the tai command you should fix it with targeting yourself otherwise the error is somewhere else

1. Load a previous save where you could use these items and use them there for a little while, all the items you have problem with. Dont need to save, just exit after you are done. Load back the save where you got the problem and see if you can use it now. Sometimes the animation files glitch out, and this should fix it.

If you have no privios save you can also use a new game to clean out the animations, even if I don't think this works worth a try.

Okay i am using Better Vampires. And i am feeding on everything that is in my reach, my feeding counter is over 1200 by now. So the theory about the feeding (Combat Feeding in particular) sounds pretty reasonable for a broken animation. 

 

The Problem is, everyone in this thread said that the only Possibility to fix this, is to load a save prior to the broken animation...

I loaded the oldest savegame i had from my hero and the problem is already there. I noticed some problems with sitting a while ago, but never really thought about it. I am not really crafting anyway, so the main problem are the chairs.

After I spend more than 300 hours in this character i am not willing to just throw her away and start all over again. There just has to be a better way.

Edit: if this dosen't fix it I'm really clueless the can't smithing animations bug thing is more or less common, but if tai dosen't work no idea where this error should come from.

I am absolutly sure i targeted myself, The Console refered to my heros name and the ID was 000(..)0014 wich should be the player.

I typed it twice, one time to deactivate it, one time to activate it. Like a restart. When i only type it once, the AI is shut off and i am not able to use this objects at all. Or am I mistaken there?

I typed it once. Activating a chair or cooking pot makes me just stand there without any action at all. Although i can not move, like the game would make an animation. when i activate the object again, i can move again. But no Animation at all.

When i type TAI again, i can activate the Object, the regular animation starts, but gets ended almost right after that.

 

I tried that once by just typing TAI, refering to all ojects and once by typing TAI with myself as Target. I also tried turning all AI off and turning my own AI off, and than turning both back on again. Everything had the same Effect.

I'm so disapointed that this did not fix it ^^ sadly I'm clueless next time make more saves so you can go back and loose just an hour or so^^ I allways make new saves instead of overwriting and just delete the saves when they become to many

Okay now it is getting totally weird. I TAIed myelf, activated the cooking pot, waited, TAIed myself again, activated the cooking pot and cooking worked fine. 

Than i ran to a chair and sitting worked fine. Than i ran to an enchentment table, and enchantment started the bug again. That is intresting, with a little experimentation i can obviously safe sitting and Cooking, so fuck enchatment! 

 

So you might not have fixed the bug, but you gave me a method to save the most important survival skills. I thank you for all your Effort

^^ no problem sounds really weird if its just the enchanting thing maybe you use a mod that affects the enchantment table? can you use the smithing table and workbench?

Had a similar issue myself when I tried one of the mods that changes the mining/woodchopping repeats before you have to retry. this borked all other "job" animations. I did look through your mod list and didnt recognise anything that would do that but there were several esps I was not familiar with so I thought it was worth a mention

Sadly, this didn't work, but that would have been the funniest Bugfix of all time. Also: That would be a great advice, for about every problem one could encounter in life.

 

@Justoutthere: thanks, for pointing out, i will go trough my list, looking for something like that. I recall that i installed something simular with mining once.

 

@ChasmX: The Smithing still works fine for some reason. Thats why i didn't notice the bug for so long, i never enchant everything, doesn't suit the character. While the Anvil is still working, the workbench and the sharpening-stone (don't know what that is called in english) are not. 

 

The whole Bug is just so weird, i can't get a grip on what the reason for all this is. Its nothing really gamebreaking, but the fact that I have no clue where it comes from is kinda getting on my nerves.

You are a genius! I tried it, but it didn't work, the moment i clicked on Immersive Beds in MCM, the whole MCM Menu crashed. I tried it from multiple saves, always the same, so the mod seems broken. I deinstalled it with the Mod manager, and it fixed the problem!

 

So yes, it was immersive Bed, causing all the Mayham. Without it i can finally smith, cook, sharpen stuff, enchant, mine and sit on chairs. Thanks you very much. But thanks to everyone else who took time to help me with my little problem, too.
