It takes 16 (!) seconds over here to load my race sometimes. Skyrim just isn't as optimized as everyone would have hoped...

Oi, I believe you don't need to use showracemenu if that occurs. Try setrace in the console first.

Try setrace Oraeze. (Yes, that's the stupid name I came up with when I started the mod ) If that doesn't fix the face right away then switch between the vampire and normal race using setrace OraezeVampire and then setrace Oraeze. And if THAT doesn't work then switch between a vanilla and this race with setrace Breton and then setrace Oraeze.

 

I hope that will fix the face without having to mess up your character.

Some mods take 1min to load or even infinite loading.

The head specular map is still not working for me. It will show in showracemenu and after if I change the face complexity, but if I restart the game and load the save it's gone.

It's a Skyrim/CK bug that arose since patch 1.4. However, I believe it works in my new version. It isn't out yet, but it will be soon now. Just gotta get one ugly texture thing out of the new HD face texture.

Woohoo free stuff time!

 

I'm not gonna wait releasing the next version anymore. I've been ill for the last couple of days and expected RadioRagae (the texture guru) to have responded to my request for the original face texture file so I could make some personal additions. No offense to him of course, he's a great fella. I just wanna provide new stuff.

 

I've got one little problem left and that's that the CHSBHC version is either messed up or not. I don't use the body type myself and I would rather not go through the hassle of installing and deinstalling it. (I'm not at full power yet )

 

So here's the HD CHSBHC version I'm releasing tomorrow, up for testing:

The only problem this version could have is that I included too many texture files. A friend of mine told me he had mismatched hand and/or feet textures.

If anyone would want to try out the new version and report their findings here that'd be great! (preferably someone who knows his/her way around folder structures and knows some texture basics)

 

Tips for adjusting your character:

- DON'T be outside when you use showracemenu! The mod's become 3 times bigger so be in a zone where your game can really spend the resources on loading the race.

- If your game crashes while trying to use showracemenu: DON'T give up! I had to try 4 times once. Bethesda just isn't very good at the whole memory-allocation deal.

- It may sound weird, but try using showracemenu when facing your character's back. Crashed the least for me when I did that and loaded the quickest.

 

The other versions will follow tomorrow around the same time as this post.
