creation kit and custom stand alone followers

can i change the voices used by custom followers without having to jump through hoops in the creation kit?  I would also like to make the followers marriable.

You should be able to do that unless they are custom voiced. Any follower mod should be able to be changed for marriage. Just open the "edit" window once you find the follower in the CK and look around for while before trying to make changes.
