anon1anon Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Adds a spell to the game named "Strip". This does what you'd think, targets hit by the spell will be stripped of all clothing. ************************** Version 0.4: http://www.mediafire.com/?g4ml38j2s85b34w Version 0.3: http://www.mediafire.com/?2blwschqrw4tvnw Version 0.2: http://www.mediafire.com/?12xlj6mam0ipbbv ************************** Version History: v 0.4 -Added a quest for obtaining the Spell Tome A devout of Dibella in Riften may lend you her copy v 0.3 -No stripping children. -Stripped characters keep weapons/shields equipped -Added some nuance to stripping. Success depends on: 1. Target disposition (friend, enemy, etc) 2. Target condition (dead, in combat, etc) 3. Caster Alteration skill 4. Caster / Target level disparity 5. Whether target detects caster (sneak) 6. Target health v 0.2 -First working release. -Strips everything from anyone. For now, you will have to manually add the spell to your player. In the future I may create a spell-book for the spell. To obtain the spell, 1. Make sure the spell is loaded. 2. Open the console. 3. Type: help "strip" 4 4. You will see a spell (SPEL) named "Strip" followed by a [unique id] 5. Type: player.addspell [unique id] 6. Don't include brackets when typing the add spell command 7. Have fun
vkozyrev Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I checked it on the latest version of Skyrim and it does not strip anything...
SummGai Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 do the clothes fly off or does it work like unequipall in the console?
Kraxon Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 On Nexus there is already one of those: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8093 It unequips. People get dressed again after you change areas or load new. Something that unequips, takes the clothes out of the inventory and shoots them into the area would be great tho.
anon1anon Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 @Kraxon: Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware that this mod existed. I'd searched for "Strip" but didn't find what I expected with the mod "SpellStrip" @SummGai: It just unequips the clothes. I didn't want to remove the items because then the NPC would never re-equip. That might be fun in some situations but would get old fast for me. @vkozyrev: Did the spell otherwise "work" for you (e.g. sounds, purple conjuration effect in your hand, ball of light towards target, etc.)? This is a targeted spell, if you miss the NPC nothing will happen. Please let me know if everything else worked as expected.
Kraxon Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That spell is kinda fun, but a big cheat. I walked into bleak falls barrow with that spell on one hand, and a sword at another. Stripping the people out of armor first, made the combat much easier. ^^
Azuredragoon Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I'm waiting for a thing that makes FusRoDah blow off NPC clothes and make them scramble to re-equip them
sbseed Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I'm waiting for a thing that makes FusRoDah blow off NPC clothes and make them scramble to re-equip them LMAO, that would be hilarious... way too much fun probably, might be a law against it. not to mention that it would be interesting trying to script that.
anon1anon Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 It does not work... Sorry for this, the creation kit produced an artifact for the spell script that I did not know about. I have re-uploaded the mod and changed the download link.
scorpwolf Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 hello, no work for me too.(with first version) i try with different people. it is not magical resistance. it is like "StripNPCScript" is empty (i can see the script =>error in CK) in your "StripNPCEffect"
Loveryus Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I wish this was a shout. I'd love to see my char shout making the targets clothes drop to the floor while throwing it backwards a little.
anon1anon Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 hello' date=' no work for me too.(with first version) i try with different people. it is not magical resistance. it is like "StripNPCScript" is empty (i can see the script =>error in CK) in your "StripNPCEffect" [/quote'] Hello and thanks. You're right about the cause, I didn't know that the script would not be included in the .esp file. I have added the script to the download in the updated version. Does anyone know if there's a way to force the CK to include compiled scripts in generated ESPs?
scorpwolf Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 fixe OK!! it work better now YES thanks we learn every days come near the fire... i just put some wood
scorpwolf Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Does anyone know if there's a way to force the CK to include compiled scripts in generated ESPs? i dont know but i see only the way it is by bsa file...(package)
anon1anon Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 I wish this was a shout. I'd love to see my char shout making the targets clothes drop to the floor while throwing it backwards a little. It wouldn't be hard (I think) to make this a shout instead of a regular spell. I'd just be reluctant to branch the code because one branch or the other would go stale. BTW, adding updated version to my first post.
Kraxon Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Has anyone pointed out yet, that some people aren't stripable? The commanders in stormcloak camps and forsworn briarhearts remain dressed when you shoot the spell at them. Maybe others too. I haven't tried it on imperial legats now.
SysTPP Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Hi, your spell work fine.. but would you do spell with strip only helmet and body armor? thanks anyway

[/quote'] Hi Kraxon, Version 0.2 will accomplish stripping high level opponents and NPCs. I actually was prompted to create version 0.3 because of your comment on the previous page of this thread. This version is an attempt to integrate the spell more into the game by making success or failure depend on multiple factors: 1. Target disposition (friend, enemy, etc) -Friends will always strip -Enemies are harder to strip depending on their relationship rank 2. Target condition (dead, in combat, etc) -Dead are always stripped -If they're fighting they're tougher (even more if attacking you)) 3. Caster Alteration skill 4. Caster / Target level disparity 5. Whether target detects caster (sneak) 6. Target health Hi' date=' your spell work fine.. but would you do spell with strip only helmet and body armor? thanks anyway [/quote'] Hi SysTPP, Thanks for trying the mod. Did you download version 0.3 or 0.2? Version 0.3 is modified to try and re-equip weapons, spells and shields. Is that sufficient or do you really want your targets to keep their boots and gloves on too?
anon1anon Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Added version 4 to the first post. There is now a quest to obtain a Spell Tome for this spell. It's basically just a conversation but it avoids needing to use the console.
SysTPP Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Is that sufficient or do you really want your targets to keep their boots and gloves on too? that's what i want
