EFF is similar to AFT. There has to be line in EFF such as "dismiss" in two separate groups. If none of them work, try this: type "setstage FollowerExtension 500" in console and  this will forcefully clear all followers from the system. later on, you can rehire anyone you want

yeah i tried that and it still does not work. i even tried reapplyuing amazing follower tweaks and dismissing her from that but still it does not work. that console command made all of them leave except her. she still stayed as if i had asked her to follow me. really wierd

That is really weird. Try this: uninstall EFF, load the game, save and exit. Use clean save tool and clean your save. Then lad the game save and exit. Install AFT and import that follower into AFT. Then dismiss her with AFT command "dismiss normal".

AFT did the same thing to me.

Back story: I hired a mercenary archer(male) out in the fields somewhere, and we took on a giant(collecting toes for poisons). The merc got smashed with The Club and went flying somewhere. Never saw him again; assumed dead. About maybe a week ingame later, another merc archer(female) shows up while I'm in Morthal. I didn't know what was going on, couldn't dismiss her, so I just tested some newly brewed poisons on her and she died. Couple days later, a new merc archer(male) shows up while I'm striding around Dawnstar. Couldn't dismiss, either. Then I was like, oh yeah I remember what I can do.

What I did was I used the "AFT Make Follower" spell or something of a similar name, on the follower. Then, I was able to dismiss him and none of them ever came back. If EFF has an option like that, use it on the follower and then try to dismiss again. Does EFF have a debug of some kind?

Yea, Vol2 is right. I forgot to mention that you can cast the AFF spell on the present follower. First time, cast it to intergrate follower into AFT management. Then cast it again so that AFT will return follower to vanilla's state. Doing this will certainly dismiss your folloer. But make sure that you don't have EFF installed or you can install this mod:
