Keilkravec Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Found this on a blog in japanese, from nexus and a big hit on the workshop. Adds 460 new ambient sounds to skyrim and makes a huuge difference for immersion. Thought I'd spread it around here in case some of you havn't seen it yet, but this is absolutely nuts. I tested this out straight off in Labrynthian, and almost pooped myself, felt like Amnesia - The Dark Decent at times..gawd i hated that game..actually had to change pants cause of it lol.
Evilokami Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Yea I saw that on the nexus. Downloaded it and gotta say. Realistic lighting + this, makes dungeons creepy. The way it's suppose to be.
farry Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Do you have to use this with another mod to override the noisy, looping, ambient sound?
Keilkravec Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 its only setup in the video to play back to back at high volume so you can hear what all will play, it plays in random order a bit quieter and at about 30 second intervals, not just looping the same sounds over and over in an area, it goes at random. Try it in Labrynthian, it'll make you look twice behind you, least it did for me having played other horror games.
sirenAri Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I hate to bump an older thread, but I was looking on the Nexus, Steam, and Google for the Sounds of Skyrim mods but I cannot find them anywhere. The author of the mods took them off (or has hidden them on) the Nexus and Steam. I was wondering if anyone had these mods that they could upload somewhere so I could download them. I was hoping for all of the Sounds of Skyrim series mods, but any at all that anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! ~Ari

Thanks!! ~Ari It has temporarily been hidden because the mods caused bloating to save game files. The author is working to fix this and will then re-upload.
vampyreninnja Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Wow i sure am late but plz can anyone upload the files..i accidentally deleted them and cant be found anywhere
ashigi Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 it's okay if I share SoS - Wilds 1.0.1 (not final/scripted version) and SoS - Dungeons 1.1 (not final/scripted version too), at here?
ThatGuyJonus Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 the bloating was actually caused by only one module the cities one, and only if you uninstalled it (due to a script not clearing properly)
ashigi Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 hey, I'll share SoS - the Wilds (1.0.1) and SoS - the Dungeons (1.1). This SoS is free from script (because not latest version), so I'm sure this version is 100% safe Sounds of Skyrim - The Wilds (1.0.1) - http://www.mediafire.com/?ptx6f8eanhq99bs Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons (1.1) - http://www.mediafire.com/?x9425pwmucsmx50 password: loverslab EDIT:fix the link
Roachboy Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Many thanks for doing this ... but the first link (Sounds of the Wilds) does not seem to work for me - don't see a download link on the site.
