elder92 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Hi guys. I have problem. I used quick save in qasmoke and now I can't load game. Is there any way to fix it? I have previous save in town but 5 days ago...Anyone can help me?
Claire Farron Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 You could try to create a new character, use "coc qasmoke", then load your save. It works for me.
4onen Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Whenever a save refuses to load, I just type "coc qasmoke" into the console on the main menu. This gives you the default nord-adventurer-dragonborn and centers him on cell (center on cell, coc) qasmoke. (quality assurance smoke test) If it's an issue with a mod, the save will load and crash several seconds into initializing all the scripts from all the mods. The initialization will act like it's a new character, but no need to wait through Helgen or Skyrim Unbound. If the problem was with the cache (the stuff the game stored in the computers RAM) not liking the game, then loading this default adventurer cleans it out. So, the cache is now clean and you're alerted to any mod functionality issues, now loading the save (from qasmoke that you opened on the main menu) should work.
elder92 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Thx guys for help but I did it myself I loaded game without SKSE, teleported to Riverwood and saved and then loaded with SKSE and everything works good. Anyway, thanks again. I'll use your advices in future.
