bushwookie Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I've been lurking around for Unreal 3 obj/mtl/whatever to Oblivion nif conversion tutorials but couldn't find one, maybe mostly because I don't know which is the main file type for models, so if anyone could point me in a direction, please do. EDIT: If someone that has converted things from games powered by Unreal Engine 3 could PM me and lend me a hand in ripping stuff from ME3 (and converting to oblivion), I'd appreciate it.

[/quote'] Blender is the primary tool to create/convert/rip content. Then you will need to use nifskope to finalize it for use in game. Blender (see post 2 for DL): http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3807 Nifskope: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope
bushwookie Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Thank you for clearing that up, but I still don't quite understand the process of converting.

[/quote'] Not something that can be explained simply I am afraid, at least not by me Be prepared to do some serious reading and then just go in and start breaking things That seems to be the approach that most have used. I am just learning blender myself (and breaking everything ).
