Stuck at opening screen

Skyrim will load but it will stay at the screen with the black background and the logo, none of the options that usually come up in the bottom right appear such as new, load, options etc...

 

This happens after i updated a couple mods and ran BOSS. Reverting back to the old load order didn't fix anything. Does anyone know what exactly would cause this?

 

I just updated interesting NPCs, inconsequential NPC's, added a couple patches for requiem

Happened to me once when I installed a problematic mod from nexus, try to tick off the newly added mods one by one and you should be able to able to find which one is causing it.

Run LOOT instead of the BOSS since your load order is messed up. Therefore it won't load.
