rylasasin Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Okay, so I've decided to take a break from Skyrim for a while, let that mod community over there cook a while and sort things out. And while I'm at it reinstall oblivion, because my previous installation was an unmanagable clusterfuck. So I tried getting a few mods, installing them, etc. You know, what I'm used to doing... Except now I've totally fucked it up and now I have NO fucking idea what to do. I get the problem of No eyes, no hairs, and male prison clothes don't show up, and no matter what I try the problem just WONT go away. So now I have no choice other than start over.... AGAIN.... ARRRRGH. So I've come to you guys, because I'm at witts end and I've spent way too much time on this shit as it is (5 whole hours gone completely down the fucking drain just trying to get this shit to work.) Please, could someone tell me What to install and in what order? here's the mods I want to install: Basic Primary needs Better Cities (no Opencities version) CLaudia Chapter 3 Elsewyr Aquenina Estrus EVE HGEC Body STock FrostCraig Reborn De-Isolated HGEC body L.A.M.E LoverswithPK AIO 2.8 (Thread here) Integration the Stranded Light (Integrated! No Game play changes version to avoid RBP reliance) Roberts male body 4 Map Marker Overhaul Midas Magic Modular Beautiful people Oblivion Warcry New Dimension Oblivion XP UL composition Unofficial Oblivion patche Unofficial Official Mod patch X117 race x117 mini bunny race I'm seriously at the end of my rope here, so an exact recommended install procedure would be DEEPLY appreciated at this point.

After installing each group be sure archive invalidate using bsa redirection and then use a save that is just outside of the sewers so you can quickly test things (make this with just vanilla and official dlc only running so it is a "clean save"). Fast travel here and there just to get a feel that things are right then go to the next group of installs. To protect yourself you can (and probably should) make a backup after each group of installs so you can recover from a bad install or mods that refuse to play nice with one another. Group 1 Unofficial Oblivion patches/mods FrostCraig Reborn De-Isolated <---- check this one thoroughly for things that it might be incompatible with as I seem to remember this or one like it had a number of conflicts with other mods. It seems I'm able to get thinks a lot more stablized now (ANd a lot more reliably since I stopped using the messy, manual way of installing and went to purely using OMODS). But I still have googly-eye problems for I:TSL and OWC:ND. Any ideas on how to solve that?

I stopped worrying about them and just said to myself: 'Aren't they special'. Same with cracks in the skin of the earth, rocks or trees in the air: 'Oh, look--it's magic!' (Makes life a lot easier.)
gregathit Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 You can try adjusting your load order to eliminate the googly eyes. Without seeing what your LO is I can't really provide much info. If adjusting LO doesn't have any impact then you may need to do some editing with either TES4EDIT or the CS.
