... Not sure how the file got corrupted as i just downloaded it from the page (and i tried re-downloading three times). I read that mikoto and lings do not work together, and i wonder maybe i've already downloaded a mod that uses lings? which might prevent mikoto from installing properly? My other hypothesis would be that i tried to install it a couple days ago and the old files are preventing the new ones from installing somehow... doesn't seem likely though. I found and deleted the mikotobeauty.esm and mikotobeauty.esp before installing the new file, though i couldn't find where mikotobeauty-assets.bsa was installed and received the same error. Has anyone experienced this or know a solution?

on the plus side, after i take care of mikoto and another problem with zaz, i should be up and running!! finally :F

Thanks again! I was wrapped up in the files and didnt think about something so trivial as a bad connection during download. x_x On a side note i now fully understand why manual install is a terrible idea... and activate/deactivate is a beautiful thing. lol. have to reinstall........ got it all working doe :] SUCCESS!!!1
