Can't download any mods, please help!

7 Zip http://www.7-zip.org/ its the compersion software most folks are using nowadays and can open .zip,.rar, ect.

Yep 7Zip or WinRAR are good choices for unpacking compressed achieve files, I think this may be exactly what is going on, no file extension associated for these type of files, Nice work folks of "LL"!
