It's not showing me the download option.

Hi, guys, I seem to be having a strange issue here. Lately whenever I try to download something from Loverslab, I can't go through with it.

Example: There's the typical "Download" option in white text with a green background. When I click that, it starts its traditional countdown before an option of "Run" or "Save appears on my screen. I don't get this option anymore. Well, that's not entirely true. I get it. . . but as fast as lightning. It rapidly appears then the vanishes before I can do anything about it. At first I thought it was my pop-up blocker but I set it to allow this website, yet the issue still persists.

Can anyone help me?

What Internet Browser are you using?  Do you have any Anti-Virus Suites running, like Norton or McAfee? These programs can cause very strange Internet behavior if not properly configured for each application. A specific set of firewall rules are usually the cause of a quickly disappearing download dialog box. It sounds like whatever program is supposed to scan it, is not doing so and maybe automatically rejecting the download. Let me know what you have running there, Operating System, Browser, Anti-Virus and what type of Internet service. I will try to help you best I can.

I am using Windows 7, Firefox, and Norton Internet Security. I'm not sure what's so different this time as I've been downloading mods from loverslab for months with the same setup. I had a month vacation and when I returned, I found this problem happening. Not sure why.  Sorry to skip out but I have to attend work right now. I'll be sure to reply in the morning when I return home. Thank you.

I just checked it and nothing seems to indicate that Loverslab is being blocked. I've had this security since I bought the computer  months ago. I don't see why it would start giving this specific website a problem now.

Any new updates that may have taken place automatically while you were away? Check and see if there were any, if not then it seems to me something changed in either the browser or Norton's, if you had any automatic Windows Updates that might do it too. I would first make sure that Firefox is set to be a "trusted" application in Norton's for both private and public networks. You might also try just shutting down Norton's "On Access" scan and see if you can download then.
