HAWKEN! A mecha-based fps! PC Closed Beta Signup! (>*3*)>c(_)

ok you guys, tons of games are available right now and even more so on their way so here's a game that my body is ready to play. It's called Hawken and if you haven't heard of it, its a FPS mecha team combat, think of it as a mix of Armored core <3 and counter-strike (or w/e FPS you play).

So right now the closed beta signup is available and the beta is coming out soon! So i thought with your help we can make it into the beta! Signups are using a referral system, which means you have to get three people to sign up using a unique referral URL to get a guaranteed spot in the beta.

 

So I would like to start a sort of pyramid scheme, if you want in the beta, click the topmost referral link under Active, and then make a post saying the name of the person whose link you followed, afterward posting your own link (which I'll then add to the list). I'll try to keep track of referrals, but please post a message letting me know when you've got the three referrals you need. So I can make sure you get removed from the list, giving everyone here a fair shot.

Not sold on this, but I am a HUGE MOTHERFUCKING ARMORED CORE FAN, so I might as well give it a try.

 

So the beta starts on 12/12/12? Seems a little ways from now. I also find it weird that they say they will reserve your callsign, yet don't ask you to put in one, just your actual name. (I always just put my first name, but then just the first letter of my last.)

YES I am looking foreward to AC5 (>*3*)>, right now im taming my mecha urges by playing Gundam vs Gundam Extreme vs. The Tallgeese is my best (I miss Char's Zaku Custom D; )

Ok I'll bite. I'm not a huge fan of fps pvp arena type stuff. But I do love the whole look of this game. Reminds me of a gritty 90's sci-fi anime. ^^

I was thinking more Battle Angel Alita, Akira, Tank Police etc. I was refering to the look of the envirnment, not mechs. ^^;
