Sexlab slowdown

Not to be confused with a sexlab hoedown, which is much more fun.

I've found that when running the new sexlab (1.58), whenever I try to initiate sex (usually through defeat or submit, both conversation and aggressive) I find that there is a massive delay between when I hit the button and when the action happens.  The slowdown has effected other mods as well, I've had to disable Frostfall since it was too slow to run with the new Sexlab.

My question; is there a patch/fix for the slowdown problem?  My last sexlab (1.37) did not have the slowdown problem.  If it is fixable, I would like to do so, since the features for the new one are better.  If not, I might have to uninstall the entire thing and revert to the older program.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sadly, I can't offer much help, but I had a similar issue a while back.  Near as I can tell, it was cause by too many mods firing too many scripts.  I used a good number of mods that were constantly scanning or monitoring things, like Arousal, Frostfall, needs mods and so forth.  In the end, I just had to disable everything that I didn't use to free up resources.  I haven't heard of any kind of patch to help with the problem, and the best solution I can think of is to disable things and see what helps.  Not much of a fix, sorry.

Usually a good first place to look is in your Papyrus log. With logging enabled, initiate a sex scene, wait for it to finish, then exit the game and check your log to see what's going on, and if there's tons of stuff trying to run when a scene is starting that might be causing this delay.

As a side note, I've found that Submit lately has caused my game so many problems, that I've had to stop using it in favor of other mods like Defeat and SD+, which work better for me.

What issues was submit causing you?
