SpeedyBlue Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Alright, I may be setting myself up for a huge kick in the gut, but I googled, I spent at the very least 5 hours reading FAQs and typing in link, after link, after link, and im tired of it when I know its something im missing. From the top: Im not good at scripting, C++, or ANY form of mod work. Im a fan of simple mods but my biggest ones are things like pregnancy, transformation, tattoos, and so on. Now I thought "Hey, I should buy skyrim for the PC since my time on New Vegas was tits" with the amazing mods on this site so before I did that I looked for a nice load mod order as well as a tutorial to get things rolling..... I found NONE. This part of skyrim to me feels like you need +50 in Modding JUST to be allowed to enjoy this. Now normally it would be simple: Get the nexus mod manager or some other one and get the game working. I could handle that, now when I looked on a few things, like pregnancy mods, armor ones, and so and so it talks about sliders, so when I found the very mod that it involved it seemed like some kinda armor modification stuff you do if your experienced in modding. Seriously, I can't figure heads or tails how to get anything in Skyrim to work. So what im asking is VERY simple.Please, give me links, god help me if your awesome enough to put it in order of what to get and in the order the mod should load. All I ask is include procreation in it somewhere and if your awesome enough to know that it works, a large breast mod for armors (not stupid huge, like E/F cups unless theres an easy way to scale it) and tribal tattoos if its possible. A good mod for body like making women more toned is nice as well. Honestly, im not picky, hell if you know a good few mods I would like please! By all means post it.And in the event you read this, and say "Damn did he miss that one easy explainitory post on "How to install mods in Skyrim" including a nice load of links (And whatever the hell these body types means, UNPB TBBP, god whatever the hell half those means, bombshell or whatever) " then please, give me that. I want to enjoy this game the very reason for I bought it. To enjoy being the perverted asshole I am. Im just stupid. To ANYONE that helps me, thank you. Seriously, thank you. It means a lot you took even so much as 15 minutes out of your life to help someone who bearly understands the hell that is modding a game which seems pretty easy for someone such as you.Let me give you an example of how backwoods I am here... Im quoting a requirement of the mod Sexlap Procreation."Install CBBE or UNP and use the appropriate bodyslider. Set up your character to look normal at min weight, and very pregnant at max weight"To me, that sounds like witchcraft and needs to be burned somewhere into my hard drive and forced to work the porn-picture mines.

43deadwood Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Definitely use Mod Organiser for installation and LOOT for sorting. I use UNP bodies and have found Alt Navetsea UNP Seamless (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30181) to be a great body replacer as it minimises most seams and gives lots of options for pubic hair, muscles, etc. Also a replacement skeleton such as that by XP (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800) is need for quite a few mods. Then you'll need SexLab 1.58b (from LL -it's not too hard to find) as the core resource for most sex-related mods. Haven't tried any pregnancy mods yet so can't comment on them. The great thing about Mod Orgnaiser is that multiple profiles are easy to set up so that you can try various mod combinations. I always keep a save game at the earliest stages so that if my current game doesn't load then I load the savegame then load my current game. Used NMM before and after a while, when my game was shot with all the mods, I had to do a clean install again and start over. With MO this is not the case. Just copy the profile and test stuff there. (I sometimes forget that and am annoyed with myself afterwards, but that is not MO's fault, hehe) I do have problems with Mod Organizer and CBBE (Bodyslide and armor batch building), so I gave up on that body model and switched to UNPB. I have no regrets about it, UNPB is really nice. And since MO allows different profiles, I used one to test the ADEC body (which is pretty nice as well!) After setting up the ground works, I copied my profile, named it "Male Playthrough" and activated the mods I wanted in there. (Not much of a fan of males getting things in the butt, so I only used several mods there), copied it again and named it "Female Playthrough", added some more mods there and made a third copy, named it "Slave Start" and this one is for all the devious stuff, since that alone is enough to play around with and that character probably will never, ever follow the main story So, you see, Mod Organizer gives you so many options to try out mods and you do not have to re-install the game, if something doesn't work out and/or breaks the game! And trying out different body types without having to re-install the game is really great as well Get Mod Organizer and play around with it, knowing, that you won't have to re-install Skyrim if it doesn't work, or if you do not like certain things. Just remember to make a copy of the profile you are content with, so that you have a basis to start over. (And don't think that you will use one profile for a playthrough, you will find "just one more Mod" to install all the time, hehe)

Ovbiously not existing ones but things like UNP, BBP, ect, does it have a full name or just "Accept this as a word" and search around for it?

Like if a mod needs ABC you need to have ABC as well, not using DEF instead. Or can you use both types of body mods at once (MORE WITCHCRAFT! BURN IT!)

For example: If you use an UNPB body, then you would go for armors that is made for it: Killer Keos Skimpy Armor Replacer - UNPB Version = http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34100/? TroubleMakers Clothing - UNPB UNP BBP BBPx TBBP MTM HDT-PE Female Body Replacer = http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20227/? TroubleMakers Forsworn Armor - Customizable UNPB and BBP also BBPx = http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20966/? I prefer the TroubleMaker sets, they are great. And I also use "Sexy Vanilla Female Armor for UNP and SevenBase with BBP" ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34160/? ) If you would go for CBBE bodies, then you would search for CBBE armor mods and use those. You only can use one body type per setup. If you have the base profile in Mod Organizer, you can copy that and use one type of body. Copy it again and use a different kind. But each profile has its own save games, so every body type is for its own playthrough. I made some screenies from the three body types I use for comparison. They do not wear the same armor outfit, though. (and my graphics kind of suck )

The community here is so great, I learned a lot in a short period of time and am glad if I can share what I learned The people from here are the reason I switched to Mod Organizer as well ^^

I was using the mod manager that Nexus recommends and it gave me nothing but a headache. Mod Organiser was a little more difficult to use initially but now I have a really great modded game with almost no crashing! You are all wonderful.
