Hired Thugs follow me around

Okay so I downloaded a bunch of follower mods.  Not in the market for a gang, just wanted to populate the inns.

 

Problem is one of them seems to have 'hired thugs'.  they appear at random and follow me around.  loyal fighters but my aspiring bard isn't famous enough for a retinue.  I downloaded so many follower mods I dunno which one is generating these guys.

 

Anyone know which mod it is so I can turn it off?

hired thugs are vanilla game. did you steal something from someone or assaulted someone ?? They are suppose to turn hostile not follow you around. Maybe you have too many mods and it is conflicting somehow.

Ah, that happens to me every now and then. Just kill them, they were supposed to attack you anyway.

Vanilla?  Bugger me dead.  Been playing more than two years and now I have to deal with this?

Try and figure out who the original offense was done against, as in the theft , assault, etc. If you can recall this, just go illuminate them, problem solved, no more hired thugs, at least until you cause an offense to someone else that is. In Skyrim, it's darn hard not to cause someone to be mad at you.
