Cannot equip to slot 60

I have 3 mods that have armor items that use slot 60, but when I click to equip them, they do nothing. The equip sound plays, but the item is not equipped at all (it does not equip, then unequip, it just does not equip). At one point, I was able to use these exact items, but I started a new game and noticed they weren't equipping. Old saves had the same problem too.

Go into the Devious Devices Integration MCM Menu to the Undies Underneath page and change the slot for the Item Hider to 61.

well that happens with any slot i assume. As this is a sexlab mod I compared with what slots devious devices used and chose one of the very few slots that was not taken. With normal items it anyway works like any slot, you can change slot 60 stuff with no problem. Troubles appear only with things like devious devices that are kept be scripts in the slots. With other words, whatever mod occupies your slot 60, is the one that is responsible. The hemet is a problem, for the other slots I used the standard ones, but skyrim does not accept inviso helmets and makes your head disappear.
