Maviaux Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Greetings! Long story short, whenever I play as a Ningheim at some point during the play-through I will encounter areas where my game becomes a slideshow with alternating dark and light scenes and every thing drops to (exaggerating) 1 fps, making it unplayable. However, whenever this occurs if I can manage to get the camera spun around during the slow-mo or face a different direction, it will stop and the game will play as normal unless I turn back around and face the way I had been when it occurred. If I can manage to get through or avoid these areas, the problem vanishes until I hit another such area. The issue with this being is that it seems to happen randomly in random locations, and it also never happens indoors. It has happened across any and all installs and re-installs of Skyrim I have done and I have applied the Ningheim update to scripts, but to no avail. I've also used several ENBs to make sure that's where it lies and I do believe it has something to do with ENBs and even if I switch it off in-game, the stuttering will still happen - it just looks uglier. If no ENB is installed whatsoever, though, everything works peachy. My current ENB is the HDR Tribute of Seasons of Skyrim, but it has also happened with HRK ENB, all of the Mistveil ENB presets, all of the K ENB presets, The Wilds ENB, NLA ENB, Serenity, Poupouri, Grim and Somber and Bleak/Unbleak. And yes, whenever I switched ENBs during the testing, I cleanly removed all files each time. Any thoughts or insight? And thanks in advance!
LaEspada Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Those symptons are exactly of the script update, trying isntalling them again and make sure they overwite. But not in such an extreme form Install the NIngheim Script Update. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35474/? Make sure your you dont' have any other lighting mods. Post your load order as well.
