Playing as a follower?

Hey I was wondering if there was a mod out there that lets me play as one of my followers for a little bit or a function that allowed that. I heard about Alternate actors but it seems like it doesn't support racemenu or ECE so there's no point in using that.

 

Any help?

So like you want to just make it so you can play as your follower, or make it so that your normal character the dragonborn does stuff, and you just follow them around?

the closest i can think of is using the

tc

command from console to control follower instead of the pc

 

the other option would be to make the follower into a preset if you want to play for the looks

Only mod that does something close to that afaik is alternate actors , which sadly isnt the most stable mod out there and seems like its not developed anymore. Its compatible with racemenu (at least was when I tried), only thing you cant do is use full racemenu features to edit NPC you are controlling. Depending on your setup it can be quite tricky to make it work properly though, if you have lots of NPC-altering mods might as well forget about it. 

 

I still had lots of fun with it, make a new throwaway char and test it, its not really that big of a deal.
