DocClox Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Got an odd one. My mouse just stops working when I'm running. It recovers after a while, then it happens again. The game is pretty much unplayable. Odd thing is it doesn't seem to be mod related. I started the game up with only the DLC loaded, coc-ed to qasmoke from the main menu and ran around the row of dwemer buttons in the cage room. Locks up every time. Interestingly though, it seems to lock up later if I'm running fewer mods. I have just this morning installed a few new mods (slaverun, more nasty critters, and the latest SD+ and Dibella) and I've also tried turning off some NVidia crapware. But re-enabling the crapware and running without mods doesn't fix things. Anyone got any ideas? [edit] Humm... looks like it's the mouse, boringly enough. I'd discounted the possibility because I had no freezes outside the game. But if I change to an old mouse, the problem goes away. So that looks like it settles that.
