NoxTM Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 You are not the first one with this idea.. try to use the search function to find similar threads. About the Voice-Acting part - i don't think that any LL Voice-actor would be offended by that. We are a pretty open-minded community, which is one thing that makes it that great actually.
Klonedio Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 I tried searching, but couldn't find what i was looking for. And with replacing npc bodies and voices i meant things like UlfricA Stormcloak. I meant full on vanilla male voice overhaul. Only males left in the game would be the monsters.
Ashra XIII Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I doubt the voice actors for Skyrim would ever know that their voices were altered by a mod in the game. If they did find out, it's possible they might be rather horrified, but who's to say? If you think you could pull it off, I say go for it. I bet lots of people would love a mod like this!
BoozeJunky Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I don't think it would really matter how the VA's felt. Those voice assets are Bethesda property, bought and paid for, and Bethesda has given it's end-users a wide license to alter their product (so long as you're not redistributing those assets or making money from them). I would like to think that the VA's, if they ever did hear the voices in such a mod, would be more professional than to get offended by it. I'd probably never use such a mod, since cross dressing isn't my thing, but I think it could be a hilarious - and could add a lot of humor and spice to the game. Maybe have normal NPCs acting normally 6 days out of the week, but once a weekend - or for a few hours every other day between 8 and midnight - they could be disabled and replaced by a copy of them in drag and go out for a night on the town.
Klonedio Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Well i've been fiddling with audacity the entire night. It might be just because the clock is 00:30, right now thing seem rather bleak the higher i move the pitch the more i get Smurfism. The more i try to hammer the Smurfism down, the more distorted the voice becomes and so it goes . I think I'm too obsessive to quit but atleast I will give it a rest. GODS AS MY WITNESS; WE WILL HAVE OUR TRANNY VOICES!!
