How to play any char except barb as a nude assassin:


Get the nude assassin mod and MPQEditEn32 for unpacking mpqs. Unpack nude assassin and run a bat like this

in the \data\chars\AI folder, which will have to be renamed too (AI becomes PA). Run diablo2 with an additional command -direct -txt in the shortcut

Now your paladin looks like a... nude assassin. Replace PA with AM/DZ/NE/SO for other classes.

Barbarian will be bugged with dual weapons, other chars will blink when you're walking, standing in town or
have different attack speed compared to assassin with some items. Druid helmets and necro zombie shields will be bugged too.

For paladin/necro/druid repalce male sounds/speech with female in data\local\sfx (Act 1-5,Common) and
data\global\sfx\ (combat and maybe skill) and rename the folders too. Just change the bat file.

The only 2 NA mods I could find are the one with a data folder, and the one that only has patch_d2.mpq

 

What is "cd cof"? I recognize HD, LA, LG, etc. as the folder names but can't find cof.

 

edit: Got it working! Basically you just change all the "AI" to "PA" or "NE" or w.e, nothing complicated. Now trying to edit the sound files, gotta start searching for them >.<

I love necromancer's gameplay, but I just can't stand playing a decrepit old man, so I've been searching for ways to swap sprites with sorceress, amazon, or assassin. Then this comes along
