Armor conversion tutorials?

Are there any tutorials for converting armor from fitting only one body to fitting another? If anyone could link me to one Id be grateful. I have an armor Id like to try working into megaoppai. It'll be my first time working with blender I've only ever used Maya so yeah XD anyway I just need something to help me get started with this.
