Slow/Sluggish response time

I have a reoccuring problem where certain events take a long time to trigger. My most recent example is "the way of the voice" when the greybeards teach me Ro, the soul absorption event takes a long while to trigger. likewise for learning whirlwind sprint or just generally devouring dragon souls.              

I think it is the scripts but not 100% positive. Could someone please help? If it is the scripts, what should i do to speed things up?

I don't know for sure if the memory patch will help but it sure won't hurt. You can use SKSE 1.7 or SMM I think it is called or something like that. Both of them double the size of the memory blocks.
