FallenJudgement Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Okay so last year I made a set of armor that I never finished (stand-alone project) for 3D modeling practice. I've decided to use bits and pieces as well remodeling others. Then after polish it up hopefully I can release it for Skyrim yay . The sets true name is Overbuckled as there are a lot of those square buckles you see in the design. But the character was for is Roxaine so I'll name it after her. Shorts Idea is a thought. I've never tried and type of shorts or jeans before soo It would be a challenge. As for the Camel Toe I'm not sure that's bit much more me. Looking back at I see how off my proportions are and that face makes me cringe a little. The proportions aren't as feminine because its was based off a real person body not idealistic proportions. But you know its there for the concept. That was probly around where things started clicking about 3D and started finding my workflow and stuff. Probs around half year old soo yeah not my best work XD. I just need to to the gloves and shoe blocking then on to the details like added all the buckles in for the manteau looking thing and the garters like things XD. I thought about doing some booty shorts for this design but to me its wasn't close enough to my original character. I'll save some booty shorts for another time. Images:

Also if the hands look big, there suppose to be that way. Hands get scaled down inside the engine. Most of the clipping issues are from the render being in respective. Will you be adding some sort of strap under that shoulder armor at all? it just sorta looks like its sitting there with no attachment to rest of armor. Also wondering what you have planned for that funky belt thing with the straps. Could do with some pouches or maybe some fancy engraved metal pieces along it. Would you consider maybe making the underwear a bit skimpier? I was thinking of something like this...

Shoulder Plates: Originally i had the shoulder plate have strap going under the arm that i didn't like very much. And on the upper right arm there are suppose to bandages. I was thing more of brassard type deal for the left arm i think it would go well with the shoulder plate. Funky Stomache Belts?: Well Origianally they just had those square looking buckles connecting them (Screen screenie bellow). I'm not sure how I could add more stuff to it with it staying in the design. I'm not usually good with finite details XD. Panties: Hmmm Skimpfy them hmmm. Well I do plan to add frills to top of it (see screenie bellow). I think skimpfy would be good for the design and because its a different body shape than the orignal. I can't say i will make it as skimpy as your drawing but i'll play around with it =d Origianl Screen Shot:

I have to say I really like the boots and the stockings, I'm sure they'll look even better once you have added some detail to it. I like the way the frilly panties look in the most recent shot. I'm curious as to how close you're going to keep to the concept art in that department. I like the idea and the design in the concept art with the fur trim, are you going to keep that or go for more frills? The skimpy panties idea sounds nice, although I would definitely be interested in seeing a version of the outfit with like almost denim looking shorts with fur trim like in the concept, possibly with the same type of cut that shows a little cheek in the back. That's just me though, keep up the good work!

Soo many things match in the outfit like the bra and shoulder plates and arm plates and shoes plate, gloves +shoes match, etc. That add fur to one place would seem oddish with everything matching. Thats just my personal taste on that. The idea for this design was to take elements and overuse them on purpose such as the buckles and straps. Also I was going for the semi-asymmetrical design(shoulder plates+ stomach belts). The top of one of the stockings(or both) is going have frills also. I plan to add some wrinkles and bits and things but here what they look like last time around(The boots):

As for rest of skirt/belt I'd suggest some sort of design/pattern made from metal, engraved into the leather. I would say maybe a dragon, but thats probably overused in skyrim as is. ;p

Anyways here it is =d Awww, I really liked them before. D: I'm sure the straps will look fine if they are the same colour as the rest, if you plan to have them different colours though then yeah that might look a bit odd. I was thinking maybe you should have the back 2 straps loose and connect the other 2 straps to the leggings instead, since those are more in the position that regular suspenders would be at. And will you be adding connected straps to leggings at front aswell? Perhaps make the loose ones longer too, possibly with something different on the end instead of the rectangular clasp.

As for the strap changes, I don't mind adding things to set or tweaks but, changes i dunno. To me it wouldn't feel the same =d. That rectangular clasp is used everywhere on purpose. Updates: Also i added some more to skirt belt thing. Add Frills/ Buckle to the panties.I'm not sure how I feel about frilled panties. i Think buckle version looks better. Also played with blender Cycles a bit for screenies XD.
