Kaldor Draigo Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 hello im having a problem with my mouse not working when i play nv, skyrim the cursor isnt moving how do i fix it??
germanicus Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Try this: To fix this, go to Documents>My Games>Skyrim-Make a backup copy of SkyrimPrefs.ini-Open SkyrimPrefs.ini-Look for a value called bMouseHeadingSensitivity (something along those lines)-Delete it and replace it with these two values fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0100That fixed the laggy mouse problem for me. I should also add if the sensitivity is too low/high for you all you need to do is change the numbers higher or lower to fit your needs. If you want, you can also disable VSync by adding iPresentInterval=0 to the display section in SkyrimPrefs.ini. You can disable mouse smoothing by changing bMouseAcceleration=1 to 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. The text is taken from: http://www.overclock.net/t/1165527/how-to-fix-skyrims-mouse-issues Second option: Disabling mouse smoothing/accelerationMouse acceleration can be more frustrating than helpful, and there’s no in-game option to disable it.Go to your Steam Directory -> steamapps -> common -> skyrim -> SkyrimCreate a backup of the SkyrimPrefs.ini fileOpen the file, then scroll down to where it says [Controls] and find bMouseAcceleration=1Change to bMouseAcceleration=0Save, exit, and playFixing the vsync “laggy mouse” problemIf the mouse acceleration fix didn’t solve all your sluggish mouse issues, try this one. Also be sure to disable all gamepad support.Go to your Steam Directory -> steamapps -> common -> skyrim -> SkyrimCreate a backup of the SkyrimPrefs.ini fileOpen the file, then scroll down to where it says [Display]Add to the bottom of the section iPresentInterval=0Save, exit, and play
