Zexan Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I've been editing some meshes for Fallout 3, and now I seem to have made a mistake on one that's pretty much broke my game. I fear I may have to do a full reinstall, but hopefully someone can tell me how to fix my game, and the .nif file in question. Okay, so one of the nif's I've edited seems to be broken in such a way that after a character wears it, the appearance of that armor stays on the character no matter what. Removing the armor, changing armors, using racemenu to change to a different race - no matter what I do, the visuals from the .nif file I've made remain on my character along with whatever armor the character is supposed to be wearing. I've even changed the .nif back to the original file, and that still doesn't get rid of it. What makes it even worse, is that the offending .nif file is for the child's vault suit (the one you're wearing for the birthday party when you get the BB gun) so I can't even start a new game and get rid of the effect. Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas for what could fix it?
prideslayer Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 FO3, or FONV w/ TTW? If it's FO3, did you toggle archive invalidation?
