A Question to users of SkyRe and ECE

If any soul that had both of these mods ever ran BOSS/LOOT, they know that every time is pops up an error. And I wanted to know what is the problem. Every time I run LOOT, the report is never without the error. The error word-to-word is "SkyRe_Races.esp is not compatible with ECE.esp but both are present." I thought ECE is entirely related to creation of characters, I mean, the facial and physical creation in general and SkyRRaces adjust racial ablities. So how are they incompatible? Playing the game,with both plugins active, I spot no difference, no bugs, nothing. Before I updated PCEA, I used to see that Dunmer did not activate their ancestor wrath ability at 50% HP. But that was before I updated PCEA (PC exclusive animations).

 

So what exactly is this incompatibilty? I saw ECE has an 'Incompatible version' in its installer. Is it worth getting or should I leave it as it is?

ECE = changing face map in Race forms and what so ever

 

CME (Character maker Extender (the slider stuff you see in the race menu)) = loads and manages the racemenu stuff for faces (which is total independed of ECE)

 

Skyre_Races = changing data in Race forms

 

So now with that knowledge think why Loot say it's incompatible^^

One changes face map for Races, the other changes data. 'Data' as in all data, them including face? Well, it's understandable why it says SkyRe in incompatible with ECE and ECE isn't incompatible with SkyRRaces.

Data as in helath,scale,magicka,etc. but in the same form so conflict.

I found here : some guy made a compatibility patch, but apparently he got mad and removed it, anyone happens to still have it?

When you install skyre simply uncheck the changes for the races if the error is bothering you. Since the chances are not really dramatic there is no need to install them.

This is what you would be missing with the incompatible version:

Adds 11 eyebrows to female.
