[REQUEST] Falmer Collar

Hope this is the place to post this:

I tried (and failed miserably) at attempting to learn Blender (with a few dozen tutorials to go along with it) and create a mesh for a simple collar that I would later try to edit to look like that of falmer origin. I'm no artist when it comes to visual images (think I'll stick with scripting and mapping), so I'm reaching out to the community's more talented group of individuals when it comes to meshing.

Anyone think they can do it or would be willing to do it?

Objective:

Create a falmer slave collar mesh. Texturing it is optional. Vanilla textures will probably be used instead.

I got things imported into blender just fine. I'm just not an artist when it comes to actually making a mesh from scratch, and I haven't found any decent meshes to edit (and make it look good). The Devious Device collars are a bit too... modern-looking, and certainly not of falmer origin.

Well I certainly hope someone who can make one sees this.

If it's of falmer origin, I would personally try looking at different falmer equips already available in-game (shields, armors, swords, etc.) and maybe piecing them together. They do have some fancy shapes so making a collar seems reasonable to me.

If you don't try to add new faces to the modeled objects, you won't destroy the UV mapping as well. Hence, the textures should still align properly :).

I already have. I'm just no good at editing the meshes themselves without making them look like deformed spawns from hell. Meshing is just not my cup of tea it seems. Retexturing I can do. Anyone can do that. Making/editing meshes on the other hand, I just cannot seem to grasp. I do appreciate the input however.
