remois Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Hi all, This file has been hidden on the nexus, I'm not sure why... So do someone still have it around? Thanks in advance
BCk9 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Arraaff! There's another 'newer' 4GB enabler available on the Nexus site. "4GB Fallout New Vegas Updated" which has been uploaded by "RoyBatterian" [thx Roy]. Works great once properly installed. If you're using NVSE, once the 4GB enabler is installed, SWAP out the NVSE loader.exe for the one in the 'Trouble Shooting/FAQ' section further down the page on the 'Silverlock.org' site where you get NVSE from. Should be good to go. I use it
remois Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Hi, sorry I didn't answer earlier, Thanks for the tips. Now all I have to deal with are those bex exceptions (don't think it's related though).
Jeffrey Lane Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 on this subject, wondering if mine is working right. using the 4gb exe and NVSE, but when trying a new mod (Pip=phone 3000) it kept telling me i needed NVSE 2.4 beta, which i have. is there an "Idiots guide" to this?
remois Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 In game, type GetNVSEVersion and check the result. Did you try to launch the game without 4gb to see if the problem is still there? If it is, go back to http://nvse.silverlock.org/ and redownload the 2.4beta version. Then make sure you extract it in the archive in fallout new vegas folder not the data Go in game again and type GetNVSEVersion to make sure If it still don't work, you may have a problem elsewhere. Disable all your mods except for pip boy phone and it's dependencies If it still don't work, then a reinstall might be your solution (just change the name of your directory)
