What to use to achieve intended char/char alignment?

A mod I'm imminently completing features some visual effects which happen to rely upon the accuracy of SexLab's character / character alignment. I don't see much discussion on this topic, so I assume my case is unusual, but the fact of the matter is that I have never seen two actors in a SexLab sequence align properly. Not even almost. Not even when using a vanilla female and a vanilla male.

 

So the problem must be with the mods I have been using to start the sequences. All I've used so far are Puppet Master and that one which uses attractiveness spells. If anyone can suggest a mod they use which does in fact achieve correct alignment under at least some circumstances, it would be appreciated. I've seen screenshots where alignment is correct. So unless people have been manually tweaking actor positions in before taking those screenshots, some mod out there is doing it right.

UNP/UNPB for females and SOS for males is what the animations were aligned for. If you use other mods then you have to use the controls the mod gives you to adjust the positions to match your preferred body combinations.

 

If you spend a little time looking through the MCM menu you will see the keyboard controls part, note which keys are used and then go fix your alignments.
