Whoever made the mod could had done some better pics imo. I could barely see her.

That's probably the issue. Until a mod for Astrid's "unique problem"

being burned and stabbed is not exactly good for your health...

is fleshed out not many people will bother to change her appearance because what'd be the point?

But Astrid Reborn brings her back in a normal, unburned, unstabbed state.
