Hdt Save Corruption?

Hello there,

I installed HDT recently for the first time following a guide on here, and all works well.

 

However I keep getting random crashes whenever I go near whiterun, if I coc into whiterun, it works fine. I didnt think it was related to HDT in anyway until just now when my game crashed and wont load from the most recent save, I clicked load to load an earlier save and saw that the most recent was oddly named (see att.)

 

It appears to think my location is inside the HDT extention.

 

Any guesses what is causing this?

P.S if this, whiterun crashing, isnt caused by HDT thats fine, just thought I should mention it

I just took a look through the Papyrus log and... well... it appears as though it is trying to load the SexLab voices or something (even though I uninstalled SexLab long ago, this problem only started recently)

Going to attempt to install SexLab again and then uninstall (to the letter of the uninstall instructions) then attempt to clean the save

Standard things to post when asking for help:

 

1. Mod Order

2. HDT logs

3. If possible, your Papyrus Logs as well

4. What skeleton you use

 

Need at least 2 and 4 for guesses as to your problem be made.

 

Just out of curiosity did you come here after the Nexus posting of HDT? This is more or less to sate my own curiosity about how powerful nexus mod listings are

Alright, the body I am using is the Touched By Dibella using the XP32 skeleton (using TBBP by Dragonfly)

I came here a while ago when looking for the Dagri Khajiit a while ago (I originally got it from Nexus, but then lost the file, then it wasnt hosted there anymore so I got it from here) but this is my first time posting, I am kinda a lurker ^^;

But yea, your HDT logs show up fine, and while your skeleton is not the recomended one for HDT physics effects, it shouldn't be the cause of your CTD's either as your HDT log proves.

 

I believe you installed the mod correctly, and something else is the cause of your problem.

I installed SexLab again and it seems more stable, guessing that was the issue.

general rule of thumb, uninstalling anything with scripts will cause issues later, regardless if you use invalid registrations from skse.
