well, do not much about animations yet, but they're are duplicates. I don't know if you need them all. Either rename the morphs or delete them the duplicates, and you'll be able to save.

When i right click and use dopesheet All i see is Objects

+ Bip01

 

The tutorial looks like this:

Objects

+NPC

-NPC ROOT

 

maybe the scripts for 3dmax don't like windows 7 so much.

 

Exporting is still nothing. 1kf. How did you install this software ??

 

When i import a skeleton, if it for oblivion it will import it to oblivion correctly but when i select New vegas it will always chose skyrim first. So either the 3dmax script is pretty fucked up i'm moving back to blender.

Npc blahblah is all apart of Skyrim skeleton, which you didn't import. I thought you were trying to convert fn animation to oblivion, and I'm not sure that this is right guide for it.

hi,

I've followed CherryHotaling's

tutorial its great and i am able to convert my first armor (CBBE Forsworn) to BBP, but i am having problem that the there is gap between neck and body (watch Screen shot), rest is working fine... plz help i can't seems to fix it.

Great tutorial! Had a quick question. I'm using this to convert an oblivion armor to Skyrim, and when I go to do the final export, there's 2 objects selected, not one. Is this bad?

Does anyone know the export options for the front page tutorial? I can't seem to see the images so my exports crash when I try to export every time.

 

Also I can't see the import options either it become frustrating are the pictures still up I don't get why i can't see them.

Part 5

Exporting from 3ds Max

* Click the Selection Tool at the top then Select the body and the prisoner clothing by holding CTRL then L clicking on the body then the clothing. The modifier panel should say 1 Objects Selected:

* Now with both objects selected Click the 3ds max button on the top left and click the side arrow next to Export and click selected:

* On the Export file window save the file to a new location (Not the same location you originally saved the prisonerclothes_f_0.nif to as we dont want to overwrite the one you extracted!!) name the new file “prisonerclothes_f_0.nif” click save.

* In the export nif screen you have to set the export the same way I show in the screenshot everytime you export:

* Finally Click Export. This will create the new prisonerclothes_f_0.nif in the new file location you selected.

 

hi i'm trying to export my meshes but no luck they coming up rong because your site has no screen shot any more for some reason so pls fix it

I tried to mod some armor recently and get some annoying bug. When i select editable mesh, object just moves instantly and then when i click create tab near the modify tab it goes instantly back.Anybody know what causing this? or how to fix it?

Right click on skin data select "collapse to" then yes

 

You will have to make a new skin with skin wrap when you have finished fitting the mesh. But you would have to do that any way.

Small(maybe big?) question - Say I have an armor already fitted to the CHBHC body but without breast physics, how would one go about adding BBP to it? I got quite lost around that part of the tutorial so any tips/hints/explanation would be great.

Use skin wrap modifier and add the CHSBHC body (with breast physics) to the list, scroll to the bottom of "parameters" put a tick in the "weight all points" box then click convert to skin.

 

Check the skin data is correct and export.

Hmm what should I add first using 3ds max 2012 as the tutorial says load the CHSBHC bone file into 3ds max first, but it also says that it isnt needed with 3ds max 2012 =S. So what should I load first with the 2012 version? The CHSBHC body? and then add the armor to it with no skeleton

Firstly, many thanks to CherryHotaling for the excellent guide. Secondly, could someone please help my dumbass? :P When I normally select a vertex in 3ds '12, I get nice little arrows along X,Y and Z that let me manipulate its position, but they are now gone. I can still set the vertex's coordinates in the tool bar below the viewports so I must have hit a hotkey or unchecked a check box somewhere, but I'm at a loss. My thanks to anyone that can tell me what I'm doing wrong. :)

That's the one! Thanks. :) By the way, I will likely find an answer skimming this thread, but would you happen to know why certain armor "jumps" forward a foot or so when it's mesh is selected? Is it safe to just drag it back into place?

Edit: I don't know *why* it worked, but exporting and re-importing seems to have solved the "jump" issue.

 

Edit #2: It worked! Actual bouncy armor in the game. No crashing. No invisible body parts. Just armor acting correctly. Many Many thanks. :)

Hey awesome tutorial but i have a question - I am using the 'Perfect 3-2 Push Up Skeleton' so do i use this when importing the skeleton or do i use Cherry's?

 

I chose the 3-2 push up skeleton and whenever i change to the boots i am modding they move - so if i prefectly re-size them as soon as i select thee body again it moves and everything is off again?

 

I also get the below error when i swap between the body and the clothing:
