shedidwhat Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Im sure many of you have a hugh collection of mods, and a good way to keep them organized. mine is only at 150 gigs but needs cleaning out what is a good way to get and keep them organized ? thanks for any tips you can give
gregathit Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Well, that all depends on your level of skills with mod tools. If you can use the CS (oblivion) or GECK for Fallout3/FNV you can pullout little one or two item armor clothing mods and make a custom esp (new or modifying an existing one). You can also use tes4Gecko (oblivion - there is one for the fallout games too) to merge esp's together (don't do this if there are quests or scripts involved as you will likely break them). Lastly take a look at mods and class them per the below or something similar: 1. Permanent part of load order. 2. Play once and uninstall (then delete). 3. Play once and uninstall (then archive as you may want to play it again sometime). 4. Brand new and/or Unknown 5. Clothing/armor/weapons mods to merge or rip from. 6. Trash. Once you do this or something similar you should be in good shape.
