Follower Stuck Script Maybe?

So I'm not entirely sure where as of writing this. It's happened before using some of the mods from this site where followers seem to get stuck. I'm using AFT so I have 3, but every now and then something happens where they just stay in one spot. Even if you use script commands or a summon spell, it's serana btw, they appear in front of you and promptly turn to run back to wherever it is they got stuck. Usually I catch it in time and go back to a save that didn't have this problem but this one got away from me. Out of ideas. What I've used so far is the placeatme, resetai, disable/enable, and summon spell. Also caught them and tried different dialogue and "do this" to try and fix, to no avail. So open to suggestions. Any rate unsure as to where exactly they got stuck. Next time I play probably gonna have to summon and follow them back, here's to hoping it's not a Riften to Volkihar Castle type run lol. Was just hoping there was a script command or other mod I'm not aware of that could fix this.

That was happening to me when had Defeat mod. If you have this mod, disable Defeat before reloading the save and Serana will come to you immediately.

 

If you don't have Defeat mod, the issue is in AFT. AFT is incompatible with Serana, as all other follower's mod. You have to dismiss her from ATF until you free Valerica from Soul Cairn. This will help you for sure if you don't have AFT or and other follower's mod.

 

If you did all of this, and still doesn't work, there is no help but to load the save before you hired her.

Well that was a case of looking me right in the face.. Thank you. yeah I had defeat, forgot about it until you mentioned it, I had left the mod running but turned all the key values to 0 so it wouldn't activate and it never bothered me till this event. Disabled it and it fixed itself. Thanks a ton!
