rawr22 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I tend to overdo my modding. Pretty much almost every time I launch my games I check to see if there's anything else interesting to add first. I'm at the point now where, due to a combination of New Vegas sex mods, Requiem for a Capital Wasteland, and Fallout 3 sex mods, whenever I talk to an NPC I have 1-2 normal conversation options followed by 4 or more options which all lead to sex. More if the NPC is enslaved through 1 or more slavery mods. I think I've gone past the optimal point of adding to the game and making it bloated, but don't really want to get rid of anything. What mods do you guys combine for your optimal gaming experience, and what sort of mods do you leave out?
Kashked Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I have a similar problem as you. I keep adding and adding mods. In the end I removed Fallout:NV, reinstalled from scratch, and then kept careful track of each mod as I added it, so I only had ONE mod for bodies, one for sex, one for combat, etc., since, just like you, I had several mods with basically the same effect. So that is my tip. For the sex-specific part of my game I now only use Sexout with related mods. It overall the best and most complete mod. I used to run it along with SI and Humping the Mojave for the specific encounters that added, but now I just use Sexout.

I'd thought I'd go male this time round for a change and started with only Sexout installed and it gets very gay. I found I needed to install at least some other mods and turn the combat rape right down.

Sexout is not meant to be used alone, it's just a framework for other mods to work with, you have to use the mod components for it to have any meaning. Having said that, Sexout has very few options for male characters. The only really useful is SexoutSex (for random sex), SexoutLust, SexoutLegion (for acces to the legion slaves), SexoutFiends (to bribe the Fiend females with drugs) and SexoutRapers (if you want to use rapepunch to rape). Those are the ones I can think of of the top of my head anyway.

Mars Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 My Fallout is not that bad as I just reinstalled, but my Oblivion mods pretty much are near the point of sentient consciousness I think.
