But this board is certainly louder than yours at full charge. For ENBs, i must opt for "performance" ones. You risk to have many problems if you attempt to run an ENB ...
nutluck Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 It depends on other factors as well. How fast is your CPU? that has a effect as well. Assuming your CPU is fine I played Skyrim at first with a GTX 260 856mb card and could run it on near max settings(was max on some stuff and high on other stuff) with the HD back and my FPS was pretty good. I wasn't able to add extra mods that made the game look much better other than the ones that made just my character look better though. Trying to make Skyrim look much better than vanilla with the HD pack will likely be to taxing for that card. Now I run a GTX 660Ti http://www.evga.com/articles/00694/#3660 As you can see it is a huge leap for me and it is granted better than yours by more than a bit. With that card I run Skyrim on high with tons of graphical enhanced mods and still get good fps.

(well not sure if this is enb but lol) oh and I far as I remember I set my settings to err med I think and my fps is kinda 30-40 ish well sometimes it is laggy... so I am kinda wondering if I could try some more awesome enb in there with this card? since I got this quality from my old derp card : v and set my settings to high or ultra? without losing fps... well I am kinda copying my files again from my external so I cant really experiment atm... (I wanna play as soon as I finished copying all my files from my external).
nutluck Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Well your new card is roughly twice as good as your old card. I am not sure you could do much more with the FNB's though cause your Vram is the same and the main choke point for you. I think would you likely could do is run the game on max settings now and add a few more things and use the same ENB and not get the lag anymore. You could likely move up a bit to a better ENB but likely would get lag. So it really comes down to what is more important.
