Ck - Game Reading _1 Weight For Both _0 And _1 Morphs?

I seem to have found a little bug with the FalmerHeavy armour from the Dawnguard DLC.

Skyrim is somehow set to read the _1 weight version of this armour for both the _0 and _1 versions, meaning that even if both _0 and _1 meshes are present, only the _1 mesh is actually ever being used by the game, even in Vanilla where the game is accessing only official unmodded Bethesda content.

I did read HERE that this problem can be caused by the game having assigned the wrong race to an armour ("Argonian" instead of "Default") -

["In my case, My armor and armor addon were both set to race 'Argonian'. Changing these to 'Default Race' fixed the issue caused skyrim to pick up the _0 mesh and do the morph."

But that does not seem to be the case with Falmer heavy (at least, not as far as I can tell). I have no idea what might be causing this problem - does anyone else know??

I think this is a common issue with the CK when assigning the nif file in the armor addon. If there is only one file (_0 or _1), the game gets stuck to that file even when both sizes are present at a later time. To fix that you can reassign the nif.

Female weight slider is disabled for Falmer Heavy Armor in the Dawnguard.esm. It's in Armor Addon xx0023e8.

You guys are AWESOME! With this additional information, I was able to fix the problem!! :D

I Googled the "armor addon" angle, and found that the full solution was to re-set the filepaths for the 1st person & 3rd person meshes - to the exact same location & .nif files, but for some reason there is a glitch in the CK with several Bethesda armours (and apparently some custom armours too) where for some reason the game just does not recognise the correct files as being present. Once the change is made in the CK, a plugin must be saved to activate it in-game.

Thanks so much for your help B3lisario and Uriel! ^_^

*I will msg the "Unofficial Patch" guys & let them know, as this fix for Heavy Falmer does not seem to have been included in the Dawnguard patch.

It's much simplier with Tes5Edit. Just go into Armor Addon, change weight slider to "Enabled".

No, UDGP has no fix for this.
