RPGX_Omega Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 What do you all recommend? Audio Overhaul only seems to do so much and I kinda like the effects that SoS would have. I have some idea but there are so many patches/etc. I do have CoT also. Should I do this? Audio Overhaul only seems to do so much and I remember liking SoS a bit better.
EternalDamned Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 For me personally Sounds was more a distraction than enhancement. It adds a lot of nice sounds, but they are sounds with no source. Audio enhances the sounds that are and should be present.
LaEspada Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The only sounds of skyrim I use is the City version, since it really does make cities sound like cities instead of ghost towns. Use Audio Overhaul though, it really does make a big difference when you hear the before and after. But after a while you get so used to it you don't even notice it's presence anymore. That's when a mod reaches perfection, when you barely notice it anymore or forget that it's a mod.
RPGX_Omega Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 I ended up keeping AoS and put SoS ontop of it. I was able to merge them into one. The patches weren't needed cause they needed another mod that doesn't exist. So far everything is fine to me. So topic done.
