Audio Overhaul Or Sounds Of Skyrim?

What do you all recommend?

 

Audio Overhaul only seems to do so much and I kinda like the effects that SoS would have.

 

I have some idea but there are so many patches/etc. I do have CoT also.

 

Should I do this? Audio Overhaul only seems to do so much and I remember liking SoS a bit better.

For me personally Sounds was more a distraction than enhancement. It adds a lot of nice sounds, but they are sounds with no source. Audio enhances the sounds that are and should be present.

The only sounds of skyrim I use is the City version, since it really does make cities sound like cities instead of ghost towns.

 

Use Audio Overhaul though, it really does make a big difference when you hear the before and after. But after a while you get so used to it you don't even notice it's presence anymore. That's when a mod reaches perfection, when you barely notice it anymore or forget that it's a mod.

I ended up keeping AoS and put SoS ontop of it. I was able to merge them into one. The patches weren't needed cause they needed another mod that doesn't exist.

 

So far everything is fine to me. So topic done.
